OK, so Croatia isn’t known for great surfing, not least because it’s on the fairly gentle Adriatic (perhaps that’s why the people are so laid back?) But with the stormy weather over the past few days we hear that some brave Splicani’s (that’s people from Split in the local lingo) have been out on their surf boards and windsurfers riding the few breakers hitting Bacvice beach. All right,it’s not been sunny like Hawaii and they’ve had to push aside the guys playing picigin and glavomet, but at least they’ve been out there.
